SMART – Invitation for Bids for the Crane Creek Fiddleneck Drainage Riparian Enhancement Project

Project Description: SMART is seeking sealed bids from qualified, licensed, and experienced contractors to implement the Riparian Enhancement Project at the Crane Creek Fiddleneck Drainage site located at Crane Creek Regional Park (5000 Pressley Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95404) and perform one (1) year of maintenance following acceptance of project implementation.

The purpose of this project is to provide mitigation for riparian habitat impacts resulting from the construction of SMART Pathway segments 37 and 38 in Santa Rosa, CA from West Steele Lane to San Miguel Road and San Miguel Road to Airport Boulevard. This Riparian Mitigation and Monitoring project provides for planting of native trees to replace riparian vegetation that was removed during construction of the non-motorized pathways. The project also provides extensive weed management to improve the condition of the restoration site in order to create space for the replacement of riparian tree plantings.

Project implementation, including planting of plants and submission of As-Built Documentation, shall be completed by January 15, 2027.

Contractor’s License Required: Type A – General Engineering Contractor or C-27 Landscaping Contractor

Department of Industrial Relations (DIR): Active Registration Required

Engineer’s Estimate: $175,367.00.
