Lead Restoration Technician

Job Overview
PuroClean of San Rafael is seeking a Lead Restoration Technician to support residential and commercial recovery efforts onsite in San Rafael, CA.

Position Summary
As a Lead Restoration Technician, you will take ownership of day-to-day restoration work, guiding team members through job tasks while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll apply your hands-on restoration expertise to assess damage, plan appropriate actions, and deliver reliable results throughout each phase of the restoration process.

This full-time, onsite role is ideal for a technician who thrives in the field, leads by example, and is committed to customer-focused service and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate onsite restoration activities, providing clear direction and support to team members
• Conduct jobsite assessments and implement appropriate restoration steps based on damage type and project requirements
• Ensure work is completed according to safety standards, established procedures, and quality expectations
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, next steps, and any issues that arise
• Maintain organized job documentation and help ensure materials and job supplies are ready for each stage of work
• Contribute to a professional customer experience by treating properties with care and professionalism

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform hands-on restoration work in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, climbing, and working in varying environments
• Strong understanding of restoration processes and safe work practices
• Demonstrated leadership or team coordination experience in a field role
• Reliable attendance and the ability to follow job schedules and complete assignments efficiently
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in water, fire, mold, or general restoration work
• Experience training or mentoring other technicians
• Familiarity with documenting job progress and maintaining accurate records
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks on active job sites while maintaining quality standards
• Experience working in residential or commercial environments

Compensation
Hourly rate: $26.00
