Business Development Manager - Marin County

We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to focus on growing our presence in Marin County and surrounding North Bay markets. This is a relationship-driven territory with strong long-term potential and high-value opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business opportunities for commercial landscape maintenance services
- Build relationships with:
- Property managers
- HOAs
- Commercial owners
- Developers and general contractors
- Prospect through outreach, networking, and referrals within Marin and nearby markets
- Lead site walks, develop proposals, and close new contracts
- Partner with operations for a smooth transition after the sale
- Primary: Marin County
- Secondary: San Francisco, Richmond, and Petaluma
What Success Looks Like:
- Building a consistent pipeline within Marin and surrounding areas
- Closing new maintenance contracts and growing monthly recurring revenue
- Developing long-term client relationships aligned with our service standards
- Contributing to a collaborative, team-first environment
- Base: $80,000 – $90,000
- Commission / OTE: $130,000 – $150,000+
- Uncapped earning potential
- Experience in business development, outside sales, or relationship-based selling
- Comfortable building new relationships and creating opportunities
- Strong communication skills and ability to guide clients through decisions
- Self-motivated with a high level of ownership and follow-through
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in commercial services, landscaping, construction, or property-related industries
- Familiarity with Marin County or existing relationships in the market
