Assistant Project Manager

This is NOT a remote position.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support our construction projects from initiation through completion. This role offers an opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, manage project documentation, and contribute to successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and familiarity with industry-standard software tools such as BuilderTrend, Bluebeam, Google Drive, and Quickbooks. This position is essential for ensuring projects stay on schedule, within scope, and adhere to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules using BuilderTrend and other construction management software
• Coordinate project activities across teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely execution
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to facilitate accurate project execution
• Support cost estimating efforts Track project progress and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders
• Manage document control processes including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals using BuilderTrend or similar platforms
• Facilitate communication between project managers, clients, and field teams to resolve issues promptly
• Assist in site inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Support project management tasks such as contract administration, scheduling updates, and resource allocation

• Proven experience in construction management or related field; construction site experience preferred Proficiency with construction management software including BuilderTrend
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, contract administration, blueprint reading, and construction estimating
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Familiarity with civil engineering principles and construction site safety protocols
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Relevant certifications or degrees in Construction Management or Civil Engineering are a plus
