Sustainability is now part of the spec, and it isn’t going away- A CEU event
Sustainability is now part of the spec, and it isn't going away. Join NKBA NorCal at Ferguson Home for an evening of continuing education, great food and drinks, and conversation about building smarter, more efficient homes.
This evening is for designers, architects, contractors, builders, and students. It covers what's changing in codes, appliances, and fixtures, and how to specify for performance, longevity, and lower operating costs from the start.
What you'll learn
- Where green building standards stand today: Energy Star, WaterSense, LEED v5, and AIA 2030
- How to specify appliances for efficiency, durability, and repairability
- Why California is moving from gas to induction, and how to talk clients through it
- Whole-home strategies for net-zero-ready projects
Meet the experts
During networking, you can talk one-on-one with an appliance rep, lighting rep, and a plumbing fixture rep. They'll share how their companies approach sustainability, from product design to manufacturing, and which products you can specify today to cut energy and water use.
Food & beverages provided
Bites and drinks will be served throughout the evening.
