Integrated Design and Construction: Rebuilding for Comfort,
Efficiency, and Affordability.

This is the first class in a five-part series which provides a wholistic approach to high performance residential building. It is appropriate for homeowners and builders. While each session stands on its own, we encourage you to attend all or as many as possible. These trainings are organized by PG&E and offered in collaboration with County of Sonoma Energy and Sustainability Division and Sonoma Clean Power. Lunch will be provided for class participants. All sessions qualify for continuing education through AIA, BPI, and ICC.

Mike MacFarland will describe how clear goals, a team approach on the job site, and planning, communication and coordination can help manage costs and result in a well-designed enclosure that provides comfort, good indoor air quality, reduced energy use for heating and cooling.
