The Marin Remodelers Forum is a sub-group of Marin Builders Association where members in the remodeling realm come together to learn about each other, build connections, share resources and collaborate at meaningful events.

This Lunch & Learn meeting will feature a panel discussion between multiple industry experts and specialists on the topic of 'Incorporating Deconstruction and Reclaimed Materials Into Your Projects'.

The Panelists:

Nicole Tai, CEO GreenLynx I Board Secretary of Marin Builders Association
Nicole will discuss the steps to incorporate deconstruction and salvage for reuse into your projects, as well as installation techniques to enable reuse when the next remodeling team comes in 5 years later. She will follow up with a list of typical reclaimed materials that subcontractors are able to incorporate into remodels. Finally, she'll discuss the benefits these can bring to your company and the environment.

Brandon Bugge, COO GreenLynx
Brandon will discuss what happens in the field on a deconstruction project.

Hans Peterson, Acapella Craftsman
Hans will discuss how reclaimed lumber is incorporated into fine woodworking.

Leif Calvin, Timber Creations
Leif will review the past and present use of reclaimed lumber in timber framing
