Installing Heat Pump Water Heaters in Emergency Replacement Situations

In 2022, Barnett Plumbing received a TECH Quick Start Grant to pilot an innovative system of installing temporary loaner gas water heaters in homes that are strong candidates for HPWHs but require additional permitting and electrical work.

Representatives from Barnett, BayREN, and TECH will discuss the outcomes of this approach and lessons learned for other contractors looking to expand into the HPWH market.
