AIA CEU Zero Net Carbon Design and Savant Energy Management Systems for Residential Homes

Please join the Ceramic Tile Center team in our showroom for a lunch and learn that will provide AIA Continuing Education Units. The topic will apply to Zero Net Carbon Design and Savant Energy Management systems for Residential Homes. 

 

The goal is to educate on better utilization of solar, generator, and backup battery systems to create a microgrid environment that eliminates the issue of running out of electricity during a power outage. Solar provides power when there's sun, and backup batteries can provide additional power supply, but batteries are directly connected to all electrical loads and typically only last a few hours. A sustained energy source throughout the duration of a power outage is now more important than ever with our rapidly changing climate.
