DESCRIPTION:This annual event will feature the State of City address by San Rafael Mayor Gary Phillips and an awards ceremony to celebrate Citizen of the Year\, Employee of the Year\, and the Small and Large Businesses of the Year and Green Business of the Year.\n\n\n\nLast year\, the State of the City brought together nearly 500 business owners\, organization presidents\, CEOs\, elected officials\, regional community leaders\, and Chamber Board members. At this event\, you will hear firsthand the key issues important to San Rafael and Marin County businesses from Mayor Gary Phillips.\n\n\n\nAt the State of the City Event you will:\n\n- Connect with 400+ local\, top San Rafael business leaders and key elected officials from all parts of Marin County\n\n- Meet new people and make connections while networking with other Chamber members and San Rafael residents\n\n- Taste from the BEST Chefs in San Rafael in just one place by sampling appetizers from local Chamber restaurants and caterers\n\n- Become a knowledgeable\, and well-connected member of the San Rafael community!\n\n\n\n"THE BEST OF SAN RAFAEL"\, from 5:00-6:30pm\, will include appetizers of culinary creations by the BEST Chamber member restaurants and caterers. Dinner will be a plated meal served by the wait staff at Peacock Gap. Cocktails are served at a no-host bar along with dinner and program. Wine and food are both included in the event ticket price.\n\n\n\nSpecial Entertainment by Broadway Performers from Best of Broadway Under the Stars and Transcendence Theatre Company.
