&ldquo\;The Nolli Walking Tour: Above the New Central Subway&rdquo\; follows the path of the recently established MUNI subway extension leading from San Francisco&rsquo\;s Chinatown neighborhood to the Cal Train terminal at 4th \;and King Streets. This lively tour will provide an informative perspective on how the City has transformed and what the future holds. Native San Francisco architect and entrepreneur\, \;David Alpert\, FAIA\, CEO/Co-Founder\, Geopogo \;leads this special summer edition of the Nolli Tours. Along the way the tour&rsquo\;s co-leader\, \;Josh Bevan\, Cultural Resources Planner\, Page &\; Turnbull\, will provide historic information about the tour stops and urban fabric in between.

For nearly a decade\, the Nolli Walking Tour has provided Bay Area residents and visitors alike a pathway through San Francisco&rsquo\;s public and semi-public spaces of past and present. Inspired by \;Giambattista Nolli&rsquo\;s innovative 1748 map of Rome\, the Nolli walking tour engages the public with urban environs that go beyond sidewalks and streets.

Dave Alpert\, FAIA\, CEO/Founder\, Geopogo
\nDave is an award-winning architect now leading the development of Geopogo&rsquo\;s AR Instantly software for design and construction. 3D made simple. Geopogo&rsquo\;s vision is to apply the power of AR to build a better world by making construction more affordable and by increasing the budget available for high-quality design. In his career as an architect\, Dave worked on project design teams for major commercial and institutional buildings in the Bay Area for the local offices of SOM\, Gensler\, and other firms. After earning an MBA mid-career\, he worked on the owner&rsquo\;s side coaching design and construction teams on $10 billion of projects around the country for Kaiser Permanente.

Josh Bevan\, Cultural Resources Planner\, Page &\; Turnbull
\nJosh joined the San Francisco-based architectural firm Page &\; Turnbull in 2016 after relocating to the West Coast from his home state of Pennsylvania. At Page &\; Turnbull\, Josh works within the firm&rsquo\;s Cultural Resources Studio and contributes to a variety of historic consultation and cultural resource planning projects throughout California\, including interpretive exhibits\, historic evaluations\, and conceptual master plans. Since moving to the Bay Area\, Josh has gotten to know the historic fabric of the Bay Area communities through work and through recreation\, often hitting the road for weekend bike rides. Josh is excited to introduce this year&rsquo\;s walking tour guests to a diverse range of sites in San Francisco &mdash\; and wishes to thank Dave for choosing the downhill route!
