SUMMARY:CANCELLED!!! Collection Tools & Tips Workshop Presented by Daniel F. McLennon of Smith\, Currie & Hancock LLP
DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED!\n\nHow to Maximize Your Chances of Getting Paid\n\nPresented by Daniel F. McLennon\, Partner\, Smith Currie & Hancock LLP\nContractors should be paid for their work\, and timely!\n\n\n\nCalifornia law provides statutory tools to give contractors the leverage they need to maximize their chances of getting paid. This workshop educates contractors on how to apply the leverage provided by liens\, stop payment notices\, and bond claims to squeeze payments out of nonpaying customers. In three hours with 30+ year construction lawyer Dan McLennon\, participants will receive instruction on the law creating these tools\, 80+ pages of template documents to use to implement them\, and instruction on how to use them. Setting up and enforcing company processes and protocols will also be discussed. \n\n\n\nContractors learning in this workshop will gain essential tools and skills to become masters of getting paid.\n\n\nHere is what recent attendees have said about Dan's workshops:\n\n \n\n The instructor was very knowledgeable and answered any question I had. It was a great and interactive lesson.\n\n \n\n The course had enough detail to be really useful\, yet it was appropriate for those who are new to the world of construction and construction contracts.\n\n \n\n It was a concise\, to the point workshop and very clearly presented. All questions were seriously considered and answered in a thoughtful and detailed way.
